Application Process

To begin the application process, request an application packet by calling Woodlynde Admissions Department at 610-687-9660. Please note applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

  • Submit a complete application, which includes:
    • Application form
    • Teacher Recommendation Forms
    • Official school transcripts, report cards, progress reports (to receive official transcripts, complete the transcript request form and forward to your child's current school)
    • Results of recent WISC-4. Testing can be conducted by a school or private psychologist of your choice. A list of recommended educational psychologists, can be obtained from the Office of Support Services at Woodlynde at 610-293 6548.
  • Schedule your child for a visitation
    • A morning or full-day visit which will enable your child to better understand the Woodlynde experience and provide an informal evaluation of your child's academic, social and emotional strengths and needs to better assess if Woodlynde is the best setting for your child to experience success.
  • The fee for an application is $100 (non-refundable)
Throughout the application process, additional information regarding your child may be requested. Once the completed application packet has been received and a school visit has been completed, the Admissions Committee will assess if Woodlynde is the most appropriate educational placement for your child to experience success and render a decision regarding acceptance to Woodlynde. The review process takes approximately two weeks to complete. At that time, families will be notified by mail of admissions decisions. Woodlynde School admits students without regard to race, color, religious creed, ancestry, national origin, or handicap to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally made available to students at the school.
