1985

Stephen Gutsche, cherished alumnus and Woodlynde board member, celebrated his 50th birthday on June 29 with many Woodlynde faces in attendance, including Donna and Hench Murray, Genie Auchincloss ’85, Bob Culbertson ’85, Dave and Dorinda Shank, Jim Patterson ’85, Raymond Reynolds ’85, and Anne Eckert.

2002
Jennifer Pettinati was married on May 24, 2015 to Sean Papcun. She works at Sports Radio WIP as a PR Coordinator, through which she does promotions and marketing for the Eagles and the Phillies for the station.

2010
David Alonso started working as a Building Assistant at Collegium Charter School.

2012
Alex Rossi started working as a Billing Coordinator for Rosemont College.

2013
Mattie Sweet interned this summer in Public Relations at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.

2015
Taylor Sforza created and is selling “Every Difference Matters” awareness bracelets in an effort to raise $2,000 for a family she tutors whose three out of four children have learning differences. Money raised is used to purchase special school supplies such as grippers, raised paper, memorization games, and summer work books. Taylor hopes to raise enough money to help them go to a school like Woodlynde in the future.

Mrs. Kristin (McMurrer) Anderson, Admissions Counselor, was married on June 18, 2016 with many Woodlynde faces in attendance!

Mr. John Sadusky, Upper School Chemistry and Physics Teacher, welcomed his fourth child and first son to his family this summer.

Woodlynde School is a private, co-ed college prep day school located in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that serves intelligent, talented students with learning differences in grades K - 12. Woodlynde provides a comprehensive, evidence-based Kindergartenelementarymiddle and high school program in a challenging yet nurturing environment for students with average to above average cognitive abilities (IQ) who have language- or math-based learning differences (such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia or Dyscalculia), Executive Function Challenges, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or Auditory Processing Disorder. Even for those students without a diagnosed learning disability (LD), Woodlynde offers expert and caring teachers in small classroom settings that support academic success. Woodlynde School also offers a post-graduate (PG) program in partnership with Rosemont College as well as a regional Summer Camp for students who learn differently.
