Dr. PJ Brennan Joins Woodlynde Board

PJ is the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Professor of Medicine at the Hopsital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the parent of a Woodlynde alumnus ('07). His B.S. degree is from Allentown College and his M.D. degree is from Temple University. PJ is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is also a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and Fellow of the Society for Health Care Epidemiology of America. His board memberships include: The Health Care Improvement Foundation, Board of Directors, Philadelphia, PA; College of Physicians of Philadelphia, Board of Trustees; Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, Director, Board of Directors, Allentown, PA; Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, Past President and Director; Pennsylvania Healthcare Quality Alliance, Director; and Chair, Federal Health Care Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee. PJ has recently received the following awards: Lifetime Achievement Award, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA 2010; Alfred Stengel Health System Award, Penn Medicine, 2008; and Temple University School of Medicine Alumni Achievement Award, 2007.
