Your Support Makes the Difference

Everything we do is thanks to you, and we are so grateful for your care for our students, our teachers, and our school.

Ways to Support

  • The Annual Fund for Woodlynde

This is by far the school's most critical fundraising program — it is the first place to which any gift to the school should be made, and it is the school's largest source of contributed income. Remember, Woodlynde charges a tuition rate that is FAR LESS than the actual cost of a Woodlynde education. The Annual Fund for Woodlynde helps make up this difference, and donors may allocate their gifts to a particular area of interest, including Academic Programs, Arts, Athletics, L.E.A.D. Student Life, The Literacy Institute, Social-Emotional Learning, Technology, and the General Fund.
  • The Teachers Retirement Fund (TIAA)

We are proud of the passion and dedication of our faculty. Their talents, hard work, and care make it possible for our students to achieve their goals of becoming confident, independent learners. The Teachers Retirement Fund supports our teachers' futures just as their efforts today support our students' future success.
  • The Woodlynde Scholarship Fund

The Woodlynde Scholarship Fund helps students who need a Woodlynde education afford a Woodlynde education. Two important sources of Scholarship Funds are the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) Programs.

When a business or special purpose entity (SPE) provides a qualifying contribution to The Woodlynde Scholarship Fund through the EITC or OSTC programs, that business/SPE may receive tax credits of 75% for a one-year gift or 90% if a business/SPE agrees to provide the same contribution for two consecutive years. Learn more about the PA EITC & OSTC programs.
  • The Special Project Fund

The Special Project Fund supports programmatic or capital improvements that fall outside of the annual budget. Recent special projects have included new windows and bathrooms.
  • The Woodlynde Endowment Fund

Contributing money to The Endowment Fund ensures that a Woodlynde education will be available for future students. Building an endowment provides financial security to continue our mission and implement our vision for the future.
  • Maguire High School Scholars Program

The Maguire Foundation's High School Scholars Program provides families of need with scholarship assistance to attend high school at Woodlynde to help students build a strong foundation for success.
  • Murray Family Scholarship Fund

The Murray Family Scholarship Fund was established in 1995. Scholarships are awarded to grade 8 students entering grade 9 with financial need who have demonstrated a commitment to academics, civics, and athletics.
  • Gee Gee White Fund

The Gee Gee White Memorial Award was established in memory of a woman whose passion for life and dedication to the mission of Woodlynde School were only two of the many ways she gifted the community.
