Using multi-sensory instruction and enVision’s® unique blend of problem-based and visual learning, your student will hone a deep, conceptual understanding of math. The Responsive Classroom approach at the heart of our teaching ensures your student will start the school year with a newfound sense of the classroom as a place of joyful engagement.

Why Woodlynde Summer Camp Works

Experiential Learning

With a Woodlynde teacher close at hand, everything from a miscalculated quotient to reaching the top of a rock-climbing wall is an opportunity to consider challenges, successes, and opportunities for growth. For students in our high school programs, this is taken even further through college campus visits and on-site learning exercises. College is closer than you think—and there’s no better way to prepare for your search than to experience campus life and services firsthand in Woodlynde’s program.

Differentiation Meets Scaffolding

Woodlynde’s teachers and learning specialists practice differentiated instruction, tailoring content, methods, materials, and even the classroom itself to meet your student where they are and monitoring their progress along the way. From there, learning is scaffolded so your student moves from guided practice to independent application, what we sometimes shorthand as an “I do. We do. You do.” approach to teaching.

Expert Teachers

Woodlynde School Summer Camp is led and staffed by the same teachers, learning specialists, and counselors who have made Woodlynde the region’s leading college preparatory school for students who learn differently. With expert instructors guiding your student’s learning and play, you can rest assured they will have a summer experience that lasts a lifetime.
