Parent Community Association

Each year, the Woodlynde Parent Community Association (PCA) offers a range of programs and volunteer opportunities dedicated to nurturing close ties within the current Woodlynde community.  There is no better way to meet other parents and get involved with your child's school than by participating in or volunteering for PCA activities.
You will find a wide array of PCA activities for which you can attend, volunteer, or both!  Signature PCA events include:

  • PCA Activities Fair

    Start off your year learning more about all of our PCA programs and the many ways in which parents can volunteer for their child's school at times that are convenient to them.
  • PCA Coffees and Conversation

    Where parents and guardians can watch for themselves how our students begin each day, followed by coffee and conversation with parent friends, old and new.
  • PCA Woodlynde on the Move

    Once a month, parents and guardians of all walking paces join together to talk and walk along different area trails, parks, and even the mall. 
  • PCA Big Guy Breakfast

    Big Guys (or gals) are welcome to join their Woodlynde students for a delicious breakfast buffet at Woodlynde and then attend Morning Assembly.

    NOTE:  With the 2019-2020 construction project, we are combining our Big Guy and Mornings with Mom breakfasts into new Spring Family Breakfasts, where each Division will have their own.
  • PCA Mornings with Mom

    Moms (or pals) are welcome to join their Woodlynde students for a delicious breakfast buffet at Woodlynde School and then attend Morning Assembly.

    NOTE:  With the 2019-2020 construction project, we are combining our Big Guy and Mornings with Mom breakfasts into new Spring Family Breakfasts, where each Division will have their own.
  • PCA Family Bingo

    A fan favorite, friends and family are welcome to enjoy a fun evening of Bingo, dinner, and many chances to win great prizes.
  • PCA Spring Auction

    In celebration of this transformative year for Woodlynde School, join fellow members of our community for a night of fun, entertainment, and fundraising.
  • PCA Book Fair

    What better way to celebrate Woodlynde's commitment to literacy and instilling a love of reading in all students than through the annual Book Fair.

Woodlynde School is a private, co-ed college prep day school located in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that serves intelligent, talented students with learning differences in grades K - 12. Woodlynde provides a comprehensive, evidence-based Kindergartenelementarymiddle and high school program in a challenging yet nurturing environment for students with average to above average cognitive abilities (IQ) who have language- or math-based learning differences (such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia or Dyscalculia), Executive Function Challenges, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or Auditory Processing Disorder. Even for those students without a diagnosed learning disability (LD), Woodlynde offers expert and caring teachers in small classroom settings that support academic success. Woodlynde School also offers a post-graduate (PG) program in partnership with Rosemont College as well as a regional Summer Camp for students who learn differently.
