Woodlynde School's dress code policy reinforces in our students a pride in their own appearance, improves their sense of belonging and tolerance among their peers, sets a tone for the atmosphere of learning at Woodlynde, and makes a statement for our school. School dress code policies and uniforms have been shown to increase academic performance, and at Woodlynde, our dress code connotes our commitment to serious learning and teaching.
Dress Code for Girls
Girls must wear navy or khaki tailored (chino or corduroy) slacks, shorts, skirts, skorts, blue plaid skirts, jumpers, mesh polo dresses, or knit ruffle-front dresses. Girls must wear long or short-sleeved navy, white, or red colored Woodlynde School logo polo shirts or oxfords. Woodlynde sweatshirts, sweaters, fleece jackets or vests, as well as nice personal sweaters, are also acceptable over the polo shirt.
Dress Code for Boys

Boys & Girls Gym Attire Grades 6-12
The approved physical education uniform is available at Lands' End and is available for purchase via the form provided in the summer mailing. Students are required to wear Woodlynde logo shorts, t-shirts, and sweat clothing.
