September 2018 Update from the Head of School Search Committee

In mid-August, Woodlynde’s Head of School Search Committee interviewed 10 semi-finalists vetted by our search consultants at Carney, Sandoe & Associates (CS&A) from an original pool of more than 50 candidates.

We are delighted to announce that from this semi-finalist pool, we have selected four highly qualified, enthusiastic finalists. While they come from various locations across the country and bring a diversity of experiences and backgrounds, all share a passion for educating talented students who learn differently.

These finalists will visit Woodlynde’s campus between September 20 and October 2 in order to engage with the Woodlynde community – parents (current and parents of alumni), faculty, administration, and students as wellPlease mark these dates on your calendars. These campus visits will give all of us the opportunity to learn more about the finalists, their past experiences, and their visions of how they can advance Woodlynde into the future.

As stated from the beginning of this search, transparency and inclusion are vital to the process, and I encourage you to take advantage of these forums to get to know the candidates and to provide feedback.  Your support and thoughtful insights are important.

The Search Committee looks forward to having you meet these passionate, innovative leaders and to Woodlynde’s exciting next chapter.
