    About Our Campus

    Woodlynde School recently completed a $12 million campus transformation across our beautifully landscaped 12-acre campus, which is located on Philadelphia's Main Line in Strafford, PA. Some highlights of our new space include the student commons, the south lawn's experiential learning spaces, new STEM and humanities wings and classrooms, and much more!

    Woodlynde School’s campus offers a vibrant yet nurturing environment to complement our teachers' multi-sensory instruction and enliven our students' learning experiences.

    Directions

    Woodlynde School is conveniently located at the juncture of Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties, Woodlynde is in close proximity to the Blue Route, Route 202, the Schuylkill Expressway, and SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale line.

    If you are using a GPS to drive to Woodlynde School, please use Wayne as the city (instead of Strafford).

    • From the Pennsylvania Turnpike:

      Exit the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Valley Forge. Take the exit to Swedesford Road, 1/10th of a mile past the toll booths. At the traffic light, turn left onto Swedesford Road. At the second traffic light, turn left onto Old Eagle School Road. Continue straight to the third traffic light (Upper Gulph Road). Turn right. The school driveway is on the right.
    • From Pottstown (Route 422):

      Take 422 East toward King of Prussia. Follow the right-most lane as the highway ends to exit at Swedesford Road. At the traffic light, turn right onto Swedesford Road. At the following traffic light, turn right onto Old Eagle School Road. Continue straight to the third traffic light (Upper Gulph Road). Turn right. The school driveway is on the right.
    • From I-476 South (Blue Route):

      If you are coming from the Turnpike, the Expressway, or Plymouth Meeting, head South on 476. Exit at St. Davids (Route 30 - Lancaster Avenue). Go left and follow Route 30 West for about 2 miles to Old Eagle School Road. Turn right onto Old Eagle School Road. Follow to first light and turn left onto Upper Gulph Road. Woodlynde is the first driveway on the right.
    • From I-476 North (Blue Route):

      If you are coming from I-95, Springfield, or Media, head North on 476. Exit at St. Davids (Route 30 West - Lancaster Avenue). Turn left and follow Route 30 West toward Strafford for about 2 miles to Old Eagle School Road. Turn right onto Old Eagle School Road. Follow to first light and turn left onto Upper Gulph Road. Woodlynde is the first driveway on the right.
    • From West Chester, Exton, or Downingtown:

      From 202 N, take the exit toward Valley Forge Rd N/West Valley Road. Merge on E. Swedesford Road. Turn right onto West Valley Road and follow for 1.7 miles. At the stop sign, turn left onto Upper Gulph Road. Woodlynde is the first driveway on your left.
    • From Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, or Villanova:

      Take Route 30 West (Lancaster Pike) past Wayne and turn right onto Old Eagle School Road. Follow to first traffic light (Upper Gulph Road). Turn left. Woodlynde is the first driveway on the right.
    • By Train:

      Take SEPTA's Paoli-Thorndale Regional Rail Line to the Strafford Station. To walk from the Strafford Station to Woodlynde, go north on Old Eagle School Road approximately 1/2 mile to the traffic light and turn left onto Upper Gulph Road. Our driveway is 100 feet on the right.
    Woodlynde School is a private, co-ed college prep day school located in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that serves intelligent, talented students with learning differences in grades K - 12. Woodlynde provides a comprehensive, evidence-based Kindergartenelementarymiddle and high school program in a challenging yet nurturing environment for students with average to above average cognitive abilities (IQ) who have language- or math-based learning differences (such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia or Dyscalculia), Executive Function Challenges, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or Auditory Processing Disorder. Even for those students without a diagnosed learning disability (LD), Woodlynde offers expert and caring teachers in small classroom settings that support academic success. Woodlynde School also offers a post-graduate (PG) program in partnership with Rosemont College as well as a regional Summer Camp for students who learn differently.
