Nanci Shepardson

On April 15, 2021, The Literacy Institute at Woodlynde School welcomed Nanci K. Shepardson M.S.Ed., Ed.S. W.D.P., Senior Educational Technologist at Wilson Language Training®, for Technology Tools that Support Executive Functioning Skills.

Nanci Shepardson is the Senior Educational Technologist at Wilson Language Training®. A credentialed and experienced K-12 Reading Specialist and consultant for the International Dyslexia Association, she is an advocate and resource for students with disabilities and their families as well as a professional speaker on dyslexia, language-based disabilities, and assistive technology throughout the country.

In this program, Nanci focused on executive functions and the technology tools that help students with these challenges, especially in relation to the planning and organizing needed for writing, note-taking, and organization. She shared a wide range of specific technology resources and tools as well as how and when to introduce and employ these resources with our students.
