Woodlynde School Appoints New Board Member

Woodlynde School is pleased to announce the appointment of Dawn Ryan to its Board of Trustees. Ryan received her Bachelors of the Arts degree in English and History from the University of Minnesota, and with a background in desktop publishing and graphic design, Ryan currently works with clients to help them achieve their graphic design goals. 
She has extensive volunteer experience, including as: a member of the Hockessin Montessori School Parent Association and serving as Chair and Co-Chair of the Annual Monte Carlo and Scholastic Book Fair; a member of the Junior League of Wilmington; and a member of the St. Katharine of Siena School Book Fair Committee and Co-Chair of the 2019 Sweetheart Dance. At Woodlynde School, Ryan has served as a Parent Ambassador; Parent Community Association Co-President PCA; Bingo Chair; and PCA Gala Committee member. She is also the parent of a Woodlynde student, class of 2020.

Woodlynde School is a private, co-ed college prep day school located in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that serves intelligent, talented students with learning differences in grades K - 12. Woodlynde provides a comprehensive, evidence-based Kindergartenelementarymiddle and high school program in a challenging yet nurturing environment for students with average to above average cognitive abilities (IQ) who have language- or math-based learning differences (such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia or Dyscalculia), Executive Function Challenges, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or Auditory Processing Disorder. Even for those students without a diagnosed learning disability (LD), Woodlynde offers expert and caring teachers in small classroom settings that support academic success. Woodlynde School also offers a post-graduate (PG) program in partnership with Rosemont College as well as a regional Summer Camp for students who learn differently.
