What I Have Learned From My Students:
- My students have given me validation that I have made a difference and that I am in the right career path. I love teaching and I love helping others.
Some Things About Me:
- Before becoming a teacher, I was a graphic designer. One of my nephews was struggling with school and I started to work with him. He has dyslexia and ADHD. I realized I had a passion for teaching and loved working with kids. I went back to school to become a teacher. I now hold certifications in teaching along with my Masters.
- I am the L.E.A.D. Coordinator for Lower School Activities. I have been this position for the past seven years. I love making special events for students. Last year, I started Marathon Madness. Students ran a lap during their morning recess and, at the end of the year, they had completed a marathon and were awarded a medal for their hard work!
- I love spending time with my family and talking about my family to my students. My students love my crazy stories about my kids and dog.
Some of My Favorite Things About Woodlynde:
- I love teaching kids and putting smiles on their faces. The best moment is when you see a struggling child have that moment when they get it and that light bulb goes off!
- We are a very close faculty. We understand each other and support each other. We are like family.
- Our students want to learn and are eager to absorb information. They love to have a good time and are fun to be around.

Woodlynde School is a private, co-ed college prep day school located in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that serves intelligent, talented students with learning differences in grades K - 12. Woodlynde provides a comprehensive, evidence-based Kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school program in a challenging yet nurturing environment for students with average to above average cognitive abilities (IQ) who have language- or math-based learning differences (such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia or Dyscalculia), Executive Function Challenges, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or Auditory Processing Disorder. Even for those students without a diagnosed learning disability (LD), Woodlynde offers expert and caring teachers in small classroom settings that support academic success. Woodlynde School also offers a post-graduate (PG) program in partnership with Rosemont College as well as a regional Summer Camp for students who learn differently.
