For the first time ever, Woodlynde is taking students to the most magical place on earth.

In May, grades 10 through 12 are going to Disney World. Students have been interested in participating in more overnight trips as a Woodlynde family, and that is why Learning Specialist
Ms. Ball developed the idea to go to the famous theme park in Florida.

“The goal of this trip is to promote Woodlynde School spirit, student bonding, and to create great Woodlynde memories, and I thought what better place to do it than the happiest place on Earth!” Ms. Ball said, when asked why she chose Disney World.

The trip will last four days and is being organized by the same company that has been hired to lead the school’s Peru and Ireland trips that are also taking place this school year.

More than 25 students have signed up to find out more information about the trip. Ms. Ball said she can take 40 people.

“I haven’t been there since second grade,” said junior
Max Slepian, who is thinking about going. “And I’m interested to see if it lives up to what I remember from when I was younger. I also think it would be a good end-of-year experience for me and my friends.”
