We are so thrilled that the Parent Community Association (PCA) will be led during the 2018-2019 school year by dynamic Co-Presidents Schuy Nunn P'19 and Dawn Ryan P'20. They have planned a wonderful year of parent, family, and faculty/staff engagement and fun!
You will find a wide array of PCA activities for which you can volunteer, attend, or both! Signature PCA events include:
PCA Assembly Coffees, where parents can watch for themselves how our students begin each day, followed by coffee and conversation with parent friends, old and new
PCA Woodlynde on the Move trail walks and coffee, a terrific way to get some fresh air with fellow Woodlynde parents (and you will find every pace of walker) or just join in for a cup of coffee
PCA Speaker Series, with a fantastic array of experts planned for this year who will provide helpful tips and tricks for different areas of parent interest
In addition to the perennial favorite PCA Big Guy Breakfast, PCA leadership added something new last school year, PCA Mornings with Mom, two special spring mornings when moms (or special friends) will have their own breakfasts with their Woodlynde students
There is another perennial favorite, PCA Family Bingo, scheduled each February
PCA Spring Celebration, a new opportunity this year for parents to celebrate together!
Added last year, Philly Run Fest! is where parents, students, siblings, and faculty members run and exercise during this annual event in Philadelphia
Returning this year after a hiatus is the PCA Book Fair in May of 2019
Also, see below for all of the new PCA Clubs being offered
The school's leadership team, faculty, and staff are so grateful for all of the wonderful engagement opportunities the PCA provides, and encourage you to join in when you can - your children love to know you are involved. For more information on the PCA, email email@example.com.
