Welcome to Woodlynde School, where students who learn differently have exceled academically, athletically, and artistically for 42 years.  If your child learns differently, you have come to the best place to obtain invaluable information about how to ensure that he or she achieves success in the classroom, at college, and in life.

Located in Chester County, Woodlynde School is the leading co-ed college prep school in the Philadelphia region for students in grades K-12 who learn differently.  While many of our students may have a diagnosed "learning disability," at Woodlynde, we don't see them as disabled. Quite the contrary. Our intelligent, talented students are as "able" as other students to excel in the classroom. They simply need the opportunity and guidance to develop a clear understanding of their learning differences, acquire the learning strategies they can use to be successful, and evolve into confident young adults and self-advocates who are ready to embrace the lives they were meant to lead.

The typical Woodlynde student has language or math based learning differences (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia), executive function disorder, ADD/ADHD, auditory processing disorder, or they may simply need a small classroom environment in order to be successful. Typically, 100% of Woodlynde graduates attend the college of their choice. Woodlynde alumni have graduated from over 140 national and international colleges and universities and are enjoying success in a variety of careers including education, law, business, media, and technology.

Whether your student is just beginning their formal schooling or currently attending an elementary, middle, or high school, Woodlynde is prepared to meet their learning needs.  Our hard working, intellectually curious students and their dedicated, gifted teachers are prepared to welcome them into our nuturing community.

Learn more about our innovative programs and our need-based financial aid program by browsing this website, attending one of our
Open Houses, or by scheduling a private visit with our Admissions Office. When you visit our Main Line campus, you will see our mission of creating a learning environment marked by both challenge and support in action. You will also see our students completely immersed in their own learning and teachers who know them well and genuinely care about them as students and as people. You will see "great minds" learning differently and succeeding.

Thank you for your interest in Woodlynde School, we hope to see you on campus in the near future.
