Woodlynde provides the total package of education, social and emotional support, and the opportunity to get involved. Our one regret is that we didn’t come to Woodlynde sooner!
After our son attended public school from K through 7th grade, we were terrified about his transition to Woodlynde. Grant had not done well in any of life’s transitions at that point. To our shock and surprise, it was a seamless transition to Woodlynde School.

From day one at Woodlynde, our son was happy, comfortable, and excited to go to school each morning. Immediately, we saw the positive effects that Woodlynde had on our son and on our entire family.

At the new parent luncheon, Dr. Fulco asked parents a question: What do you expect to take away from your experience at Woodlynde? Because of his learning difference, Grant has always taught our family valuable skills. We wanted to grow as a family from our Woodlynde experience.

At Woodlynde, homework has become doable. Grant is empowered with the tools he needs to help himself when he gets stuck. We no longer need to supervise daily assignments. Grant’s independence has transformed into confidence. The frustration of not succeeding in school is gone, and our son has transformed into a successful, confident student who earns good grades.

Beyond the classroom, the sports and clubs offered at Woodlynde gave our son the opportunity that he had always yearned for – to be a part of a school sports team. Grant also loves adventure, and the Outdoors Club has offered him unique opportunities to explore with his Woodlynde community.

Woodlynde provides the total package of education, social and emotional support, and the opportunity to get involved. Our one regret is that we didn’t come to Woodlynde sooner!
