ADHD

AD/HD – the abbreviation for the medical diagnosis and neurodevelopmental disorder of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. This disorder is characterized by significant impairments in attention, executive functioning, and self-regulation skills. There are three subtypes of AD/HD including one where symptoms of inattention are most predominant, one where symptoms of hyperactivity are most predominant, and where there is a combined presentation of inattention and hyperactivity.
