ICD

ICD – The ICD stands for the International Classification of Diseases, currently in the eleventh edition (often written as ICD-11). This is the manual constructed by the World Health Organization, which sets out criteria for medical classifications (including psychiatric and psychological disorders) utilized internationally. As medical billing often utilizes ICD codes, many medical and psychological evaluations will include the ICD diagnostic code along with the diagnosis name.
